How is it calculated?

  • Total import cost = ([Goods value (FOB)] + [Freight] + ([Goods value (FOB)] + [Freight]) × 1.1 × [Insurance rate] ÷ 100) × (1 + [Customs duty rate] ÷ 100) + [Total local charges]
  • Unit cost = [Total import cost] ÷ [Quantity (units)]
  • Cost per carton = [Unit cost] × [Units per carton]
